About us

IMFT is a former institute for metalcasting  - part of the Central machine-building institute. In 1971 IMFT became a separate organisation for R&D activities for the Bulgarian foundries.  Since 1997 IMFT is a private company with the main activities as follows.

- Production of foundry consumables

- Developing different technologies for production of castings

- Production of castings of cast iron and steel

- Consultancy service

- Eductaion and trainings for foundrymen

- Representing foreign companies for foundry equipment and materials
